79 SUPPORT MY FINAL CHALLENGE TO RAISE FUNDS FOR GUIDE DOGS

I'm taking part in the LAST EVER Pawgust to raise vital funds for Guide Dogs, and continue a tradition and cherished memory that I started with Bailey.

This August, I will be walking everyday in support of people living with low vision and blindness. I am in the very fortunate position to not only raise funds, but to have amazing specialists who’ve saved my own vision. I am mostly blind in one eye, and have had 20+ procedures to date that have saved my slight remaining vision. Most recently I was diagnosed with glaucoma, and am now medicated daily to prevent blindness. Without early intervention and detection from my doctors, I myself could have been in a position to need the help of a guide dog. I have a long journey ahead and plenty of risks and challenges, but I never take my vision for granted. I feel grateful to be able to help those in need now even in the smallest way.

Every step I take helps provide life-changing Guide Dogs and services to those who need them most. Did you know it costs more than $50,000 to breed, raise and train just ONE Guide Dog?! With demand for Guide Dogs services continuing to grow, your support has never been more important.

This is the LAST EVER Pawgust, and I'm determined to make every step count.
