Skye and I are joining the final ever PAWGUST challenge!

🐾 Skye and I are taking part in the final ever PAWGUST challenge this August to help raise funds for Guide Dogs Australia.

Throughout August, we'll be getting out for a walk every day—rain, hail or shine—to support people living with low vision and blindness.

Guide Dogs provide so much more than companionship; they help create independence, confidence, and freedom. Every donation can make a real difference.

As this is the last ever PAWGUST, Skye and I would love to make our steps count. If you'd like to support our challenge, we'd be incredibly grateful for any contribution, big or small.

Thank you for cheering us on! 🐕💛

Please make a donation to help me go the distance so that together, we can change lives one step at a time.

My Updates

Day 15 • We're Smashing Out Kms

WOW! What an amazing 2 weeks it has been.

Skye & I have managed through good, amazing and even terrible weather to clock up 106 km in 2 weeks. I'm amazed - because the weather this week has been truly horrible here in Adelaide. I thought we'd done a good job week one, putting in time to do an extra 1-2 km each day due to sunny weather - thinking we'd have kms in the bank for wet weather days, but given we've got rain coats a snazzy rainbow umbrella and gumboots, we've managed just fine to keep walking just as munch this wet, wintery week.

Skye and I would like to say a HUGE thank you to those who have donated up to now. Thank you Leanne, David, Karen, Helen, Charlotte, Bridgette, Angeline and Margaret for your very generous contributions. We and Guide Dogs Australia, are so so so grateful.

Day 1 • Our First Walk for PAWGUST

On our first walk for PAWGUST we visited My Crawford Forest and walked a 7km loop. We started at the Heysen Trail Boardwalk which is roughly 3km along the edge of the forest. We came across lots of other walkers with pup as well as some passionate hikers and runners. After the boardwalk we headed deeper into the forest to make our trek a loop trail.
The day was beautiful - overcast, yet mostly sunny, fresh/clean air and of course the magic and majesty of the pine and eucalypt forests.
We're looking forwrad to see where our PAWGUST walking efforts will lead to throughout the month!
