SUPPORT MY CHALLENGE TO RAISE FUNDS FOR GUIDE DOGS

This is year 8 of 8 for Jordie and me doing Pawgust.  And this year we have the added support of Joyful, a working Guide Dog, joining us as well.  (Joyful has been our guest while his person has been in hospital.)

We take part in the PAWGUST challenge to raise awareness and funds for Guide Dogs.

Rain, hail or shine, this August, we will be pounding the pavement!  We've been pretty lucky with the weather so far - it has been very cold, but dry.  Although to be honest, it would be better to be walking in the rain given how dry everything is.

It costs in excess of $50,000 to breed, raise and train just ONE Guide Dog! We're doing our bit so that everyone who needs a Guide Dog has a Guide Dog.

Day 13

More selfie shenanigans out in the park.
Giving the orange Pawgust merch a workout though - finally a pic with all 3 of us in orange.

Day 12

Slight change of walk venue today - we went to the Vic Market to pick up some supplies - and some breakfast.
Food is a good reason to look at the camera. Jordie and Joyful are still only smiling on the inside. Trying to guilt me into sharing is a serious business.

These dogs - they live the best life, then you ask them to smile for a pic, and this is all they can come up with. Smiling on the inside - you will have to take my word for it.
