Who is Guide Dogs Australia?

Guide Dogs Australia is a brand that represents Australia's state and territory-based Guide Dog organisations.

About Guide Dogs

Guide Dogs delivers essential services to children, teenagers, adults and older Australians who have low vision or blindness. All our services are provided at no cost to our clients!

Guide Dogs Australia receives minimal government funding and therefore relies on the generous support of the community to fund programs and services such as: Guide Dogs, Orientation and mobility services, Assistance Dogs, Daily Living Services, Adaptive Technology, Client Support and Client Advocacy.

Our Belief

We believe that vision loss will not and should not limit a person's independence. We provide assistance to anyone with low vision or blindness, no matter what age or level of vision, and we work to ensure that they are are active and involved members of the community.
