Our Walking Adventures
Minutes of Walking
of 1000 target
Almost 2 weeks in and it's action stations.
I've increased my fundraising goal twice, AND NOW I'VE INCREASED MY TIME GOAL!!! To match my ambition of wanting to reach $1000, I've increased my walking goal to 1000 minutes. Seems only fair.
Many people have given generously so far, but Gimli and the guide dogs of Australia still need your help.

So at the end of day 1, we're only $100 away from our updated goal. I wonder how many times we can increase our goal before the month ends???
This morning Gimli had a fantastic walk at an offleash park in our area, that looked and felt like we were in the countryside, despite being in the middle of suburbia.
Gimli said hello to some new friends, and almost rolled in a dead lorikeet! How exciting? He literally didn't stop running the entire walk, and was well and truly pooped by the end.
It was all fun and games until I realised I was going to be late for a meeting, at which point we had to rush home, pass him to his father and I had to go again. I don't think he minded, he was asleep by the time I got out of the shower.
Looking forward to walking and better time management tomorrow!

Look at that face? How could you say no to giving him money for charity?
My best mate and I are taking part in PAWGUST 2019 on behalf of Guide Dogs Australia because I'm passionate about helping Guide Dog puppies in training and supporting people in our community living with disability.
During the month of August, my dog and I will be walking 30 minutes a day for 30 days (that's roughly 2km every day which is no small feat in the winter weather!) to raise vital funds for Guide Dogs and support their puppies currently in training.
And that's where you come in! By supporting my dog and I, you are helping to improve the quality of life for all Aussies living with disability, and to give the puppies the best start in their journey to becoming Guide Dogs.
Will you please show your support by donating to me today? Anything you can give will help.
With your support we can change people’s lives by helping current Guide Dog puppies in training. Plus, it will also inspire me and my pooch to complete my 30 minutes each day!
Thank you so much.
Thank you to my SupPAWters
